What is Express Fest?

Express Fest is a FREE, inclusive community event that encourages communication and connection. Students with communication challenges and their families are invited to try out a variety of ways to express themselves—through music, art, dance, touch, images, and, yes, words.

Built in to the event are easy ways for everyone to connect. Kids and teens can do the human scavenger hunt to meet new friends and then share a high five or get a fun photo together! Folks can join a "silent" jam on keyboard, drums, or guitar and then try out new moves on the dance floor. Adults can meet through Communication BINGO and then stay connected through the private online community.

Express Fest is an awesome way to build community and to open yourself up to new ways to communicate.

*Song volume will be kept at low levels to accommodate sensitive ears, and a separate sensory space will be available for relaxing throughout the event.
